Tokyo & French Polynesia
Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and Nuka Hiva with a stop-over in Japan.| Our November 2008 trip took us to the French Poynesian Islands of Tahiti, and Moorea where Paula swam with the dolphins. From there we spent five nights in Bora Bora before flying to the remote Marquesas Islands and the rugged island of Nuka Hiva. We broke our outward journey with three nights in ultra-modern Tokyo, where we had an excellent visit to Mount Fuji which included a trip on the world famous Shinkansen 'Bullet Train', and stopped again for one night on our return journey. |
