We are as the title of our site suggests, George and Paula.  We live in Central Scotland, in the tiny village of Crossford,  which lies just outside the ancient Scottish capital of  Dunfermline, in the County of Fife,

We are about twelve miles from Scotland's modern capital, Edinburgh, just over the famous Forth Railway Bridge.

We both love to travel and met while on holiday in Peru in 1992. Since then, the highlights of these travels have taken us to the mountain Kingdom of Tibet,  The Galapagos Islands, and a return trip for us both to China.

We have also visited India, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Australia, The US of A, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, Hong Kong, Macau, as well as Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka and the lovely Maldives.

June 2000, and we went on a trip that took in Ecuador, Colombia and the most incredible place on Earth for  wildlife and birds, The Galapagos Islands. October 2000 and we were off to the Garden Island of Madeira for a few days R and R.

2001, and we visited Cuba in early June, and then a September trip to China. We started in the ultra modern city of Beijing before cruising up the Yangtze River from the 3 Gorges Dam Project to Chongqing to see some of the most scenic parts of China before they are lost for ever by the flooding of the massive dam being built there.

2002, and we were off to the Caribbean island of Tobago in late May and then we took a tour of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in October.

2003 and we took a short break to Bruges in Belgium on the Superfast Ferry that now runs from Rosyth to Zebrugge. We have just returned from a trip to Chile taking in a cruise of the Chilean Fjords to the San Rafael Glacier on Skorpios III, and then a flight to Easter Island, for a 5 day stay among the 1000 Moai Statues.
